NARCOA Ride on the Union County Industrial Railroad
Sunday, November 21st, we will host the NARCOA Speeders, for the third year, on our Union County Industrial Railroad!
These cool, little cars will travel the UCIR - from NewColumbia, to Allenwood, then through Lewisburg to Winfield, and return. Anyone is welcome to meet the speeder drivers and hand them a new, unwrapped toy for the drive at the designated stops, listed below.
NARCOA does have a COVID-19 plan in place. We are asking that the public respect the drivers, and wear masks when interacting with them. Except in the case of handing donations, please also maintain a distance of six-feet between you and the driver.
Event Schedule (Times are approximate):
9:00AM | Depart the White Deer Volunteer Fire in New Columbia
9:15 AM | Arrive in Allenwood
9:45 AM | Arrive in West Milton
10:30 AM | Stop (toy donation opportunity) at the Lewisburg Dunkin' Donuts
11:15 AM | Stop (toy donation opportunity) at the Rollermills Antique Mall
12:15 AM | Arrive in Lewisburg
1:00 PM | Stop (toy donation opportunity) at Winfield Fire Department
1:30 PM | Begin return trip to New Columbia
For NARCOA Riders
Ride the 30 miles RT of the Union County Industrial Railroad from New Columbia to Allenwood and south to Winfield and return.
NOTE: We will be stopping at Dunkin Donuts for breakfast and then at the Roller Mills antiques / flea market for shopping.
Proof of NARCOA insurance required - Bring your card with you
All CPE rides are rain or shine. No cancellations due to weather. Hard soled shoes required - no sneakers or sandals. Children must be closely supervised.
A lime yellow or blaze orange safety vest is required for all participants.
