Lane Restriction Begins Next Week on Route 42 in Montour Township, Columbia County
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a lane closure next week on Route 42 (Rupert Drive) in Montour Township, Columbia County, for railroad crossing repairs.
On Monday, August 21, 2023 and Tuesday, August 22, North Shore Railroad will be removing the deteriorated concrete crossing panels and paving the crossing. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed. Work will be performed during daylight hours.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
